Every single day,  a home business is started from an individual who desires more freedom and income.  One of the biggest obstacles facing the masses of people who are searching for an online business opportunity

Does that product encounter any fierce competition at all?  And if so,  how does that product differentiate itself from the crowd of others swarming the competitive market place? In other words, you must identify all the unique advantages that your product features have in comparison with your competition. And you must be able to articulate the disadvantages of your competition’s product in comparison with your product. A complete thorough MLM review is an exercise that you need to complete in order to accomplish this main objective.  Your goal is to position your product as a leader in the industry.

Yes it’s true, “The Donald” has decided to venture into the world of network marketing and stake his claim.

And the truth is I’m not surprised.

In the past Mr. Trump has endorsed the network marketing company ACN and even featured them on his show “Celebrity Apprentice.”

So I wasn’t at all shocked to hear he was getting involved in this industry.

So what is the Trump Network all about?

Here are some “inside” details I acquired via a rep with the company.

First, I opted into the companies lead capture page and waited for a response.

Let me warn you that when you opt-in, don’t expect an instant response. I believe they assign leads to qualifying reps manually, which takes a little bit of time to process.

Because I’m a creature of instant gratification, I was kind of annoyed by this and thought maybe I’d entered my e-mail address incorrectly. So I opted in again. Same thing happened; no instant response, so I waited patiently.

The next day I received an e-mail with a brief overview of the company along with a person’s name and phone number I was supposed to contact for more information.

I made contact with this individual and found out some interesting things about the Trump Network. Here is a breakdown of what I learned:

1. The company is currently in pre-launch stage and will officially make their debut in October 2009. Between now and then, Donald Trump will start a media blitz, going on shows like Oprah to get the word out about this company.

2. The company that Donald Trump will be taking over is Ideal Health. They have been around for 12 years and specialize in custom vitamins that cater to individuals needs. While this concept is not new (a company called Genewize officially launched last year and does pretty much the same thing), it does offer for an interesting product line.

3. Supposedly Donald Trumps business plan calls for 1 million people to join the Trump Network within 12 to 18 months. Whether this happens or not remains to be seen.

4. Ideally they want you to maintain $300 monthly business volume. This works in with their compensation plan business model. It can be a combination of personal, customer and business monthly usage.

I also asked about personal monthly requirements. It is assumed you will use their products, which essentially means buying 100 points worth of product a month, and comes to about $120/month.

5. You will probably be asked to join at the Fast Start level. This requires you to buy a $30 Marketer Kit, 1 PrivaTest (an at home test that allows the company to determine what products fit you best) at $139.95 and a Business Starter Kit (BSK) for 297.95, for a grand total of $467.90.

After buying this, you then go out and find others who will do the same. You receive a $100 bonus each time one of your personally sponsored recruits buys a Fast Start package.

And that’s it in a nutshell.

As with most start-up network marketing companies there’s always a lot of hype leading up to the official launch and this company is no different.

It does carry the Trump name, to help brand the company and build credibility, but as to whether it will live up to all the hype or how long it will be around remains to be seen.

All of the facts & evidence pointed to Coke having a taste problem with the original recipe. Coke had in fact been working in secret for years on a new one.

Drawing on the success of Diet Coke, Coke’s marketing strategy called for the modification of that recipe to a sugar based drink. They felt they could finally turn the tide by introducing ‘NEW Coke’, based on that formula.

In pre launch blind taste tests, people thought the new Coke tasted sweeter & smoother than the original. Extensive research revealed that people preferred the New Coke to both the original Coca Cola recipe & Pepsi.

Statistically speaking, the taste of New Coke was significantly preferable.
New Coke was the solution, but what to do with the original? If they kept both on the market, it was a sure bet that Pepsi would be able to claim that it was more popular than both, at least for a time! And a marketing strategy that called for the promotion of a new & an old Coke would only confuse the public & dilute the brand.

The original recipe was dropped.

So what happened when new Coke was introduced?

It bombed completely, & utterly! Here’s the brilliant tag line that they used to introduce it. ‘The Best Just Got Better, Coke Is It!’ Gee, that looks like a winner.

People hated the new Coke, many without even having to taste it. And they were incensed that the original had been ‘stolen’ from them.

One hundred years, & countless millions of dollars in advertising had made Coke Cola a part of people’s very identity. Drinking Coca Cola wasn’t about taste at all.

It was about mental association.

If nothing else, this story should prove to you once & for all that it’s not what you do that counts, it’s what you say & how powerfully you say it. And, that your customer’s buy, or don’t buy, for all kinds of seemingly irrational reasons. What’s critically important is not your product, but how your marketing strategy relates ownership of that product to your buyer’s beliefs, feelings, & desires!

It also demonstrates that ‘me to’ can be a very dangerous marketing strategy.

While huge companies like Coke can afford to blow through billion dollar advertising budgets like there’s no tomorrow, as a Guerrilla marketer, I urge you to avoid expensive frontal assaults & one-upmanship like the plague.

Be creative instead, & seek to outflank the enemy!

The other product Nucerity International offers is LuCERITY. Now this product hasn’t been released as of the time of this article, but claim it will be on the market soon. What this product does is increase skin hydration and elasticity. It also helps rebuild and strengthen vital cells which aid in healthier skin. This product reverses the negative effects of Skin Oxidation and even filters harmful flourescent light. The LuCERITY composition does not contain any oils that tend to clog skin pores.

The company website offers a 9 page pdf file that discusses details about their MLM Compensation Plan. This program has 8 different ways to earn income within the company. This looks like one of the MLM Compensation Plans where top earners, known as Diamonds get VIP Treatment. They even have a Luxury Diamond Car Program. My assessment is that this MLM Compensation Plan was very well through out, and that they sourced it to one of the top MLM Comp Plan writers out there. Skin Care is another booming sub-niche in the Health & Wellness Industry, and has potential for dramatic growth. So if selling skin care is your passion, you just might have a future with this company. I haven’t come across any red flags here at all.
